QUESTIONS

The questions
families actually ask

Before they call, most families want to know the same handful of things. Here they are, answered plainly. If yours isn’t here, ask us on the consult.
GROUP ONE

What
Keystone is

Is this home health care?
No. Home health comes to do specific medical tasks, like changing a dressing. A Nurse Ambassador oversees the bigger picture: medications, doctors, appointments, the home, benefits, and keeping your family informed.

Adult children caring for a parent, parents of children with special needs, adults living with a disability, and older adults who want an experienced nurse on their side.

No. We work alongside them, making sure instructions are understood, followed, and coordinated between providers.

Yes. We visit, review the care plan and medications, speak with staff, and keep you informed.

GROUP TWO

Visits and updates

What happens during a visit?

Your Nurse Ambassador checks in on your loved one’s health and wellbeing, reviews medications, looks at the home for safety, follows up on appointments, and sends your family an update afterwards.

About an hour.

Yes. We can book appointments, go with your loved one, take notes, ask questions, and explain everything to your family afterwards.

After every visit, you’ll receive a clear update [by email, text, or call]. We always share information with your loved one’s permission.

That isn’t our focus, but we can help you arrange trusted in-home help when it’s needed.

GROUP THREE

Where we work, and getting started

Do I need to live nearby?

No. Many of our families live out of state. Your loved one needs to live in our service area: Jupiter and Palm Beach County.

That’s very common. We start with respect: a conversation, not a takeover. Our role is to support their independence, and we work with their permission.

Yes. We help you understand which programs may apply, organize documentation, and prepare for applications and assessments. We can’t determine eligibility or guarantee approval.

GROUP FOUR

Cost and membership

Does Medicare or insurance pay for Keystone?

Keystone is private pay and isn’t billed to Medicare or insurance.

Our first ten member families, who keep [founding benefit] for as long as they remain members.
